The Goodyear LSW Advantage Tire and Wheel System:

Today’s tractors and combines are faster and heavier than ever before, but to take the full advantage of the capabilities, you need the right tire and wheel assembly. A conventional tire/wheel assembly with a 70series aspect ratio has the tendency to bounce during road transportation and will hop in the field when put in high-draw bar applications, with LSW technology installed properly this can be eliminated.
What is LSW?
LSW tires feature a lower aspect ratio and smaller sidewall than a conventional tire. With LSW tire and wheel system the wheel diameter is increased without increasing the outside diameter of the tire, providing more stability in the field and on the road.
Reduce Road Lope:
With the larger sidewall tires is greater potential for recoil effect and bouncing. The smaller the sidewall of the LSW design dampens the swaying motion that resulting in less road lope while traveling at transport speeds, keeping the operator production and comfortable between fields.
Reduce Power Hop:
A smaller sidewall also helps eliminate the power hop experienced when tires bite into the ground, and causing the tractor to bounce forward during hi-drawbar field work. Reducing power hop keeps the operator comfortable and more productive in the field.
Application and cost of LSW?
With the many applications and wide range of tire sizes we would recommend you contact us directly via phone, stop in or email us at miranda@mcateetire.com, we can talk and walk you through step by step. Simply ask for Miranda, let us know your current make and model of tractor, sprayer, combine or grain cart. We can most often convert John Deere, Case, Massey, Challenger, Buhler, New Holland.
